Supermarkets: Aldi is across the main road. Carrefour is in the town centre. Lidl is a short walk past the market ground.
Petrol station (Galp) is a short walk away from the house (inland direction along the main road). This is handy if you land on a Sunday especially in winter.
There are a number of lovely bakeries in the village where fresh bread and pastries can be bought as well as the usual ice cream parlour’s

Public Transport
There is a bus service from the village to Fuengirola and to Marbella.
The bus to Marbella leaves from the bus stop under the highway flyover. The bus to Fuengirola leaves from the bus stop by the famous La Cala donkey located in the centre of the village. Generally, there are two buses an hour but check the timetables for more details. There is a timetable located in the information pack for your convenience.

Cantonese – The best Chinese in La Cala serving quality food for a very reasonable price.
El Gusto – Local cuisine, Mediterranean, and International food and great service.
El Pikoteo – A traditional Spanish restaurant that’s always busy in the evening with Spanish locals.
El Torreon – A variety of paellas, fish, and meat dishes with the best views of the beach.
Eskina is a Spanish tapas restaurant with a modern slant. Wonderful service and delicious food.
Wine Bars
Pura Cepa – Superb selection of both wines and gin. Plus, complimentary crisps and pate with every glass!
Nightlife
Legends – Fabulous night out that host tribute bands and DJs with very reasonably priced drinks. Everyone gets a seat during the show and drinks are served at your table. Andrea and Paul are the owners and are very hospitable.
